One of them is the concept of a modular PLC for newly built, modernized machine tools or task machines equipped with CNC SINUMERIK ONE or 828D.

In our opinion, the process of creating PLC software can be more automated and standardized, especially since each machine is unique and programmers often adopt different implementation strategies.

The architecture of the modular PLC takes into account the requirements of the latest Machinery Directive and regulations related to cybersecurity, including the Cyber ​​Resilience Act (CRA). Based on it, we are developing a methodology for handling machine cybersecurity incidents, which will be of particular importance for machine manufacturers and their users from September 2026. The modular PLC program is accompanied by a set of guidelines for the configuration of NCK and HMI systems, prepared in such a way that the developed solution meets legal requirements as well as the expectations of your customers.
